The Lanzarote Souvenir Project.
This module comprises the major project taking place during the second year in the MFA in Product Desing Making.
The project consists of making a design brief and producing a line of souvenirs centred around the island of Lanzarote, which belongs to the Canary Islands archipelago.
The aims for the project are:
- Elevate the concept of the souvenir through design.
- Explore the relations with local identity, symbolisms and traveller’ identity and objects.
- Support local economies of touristic destinations after the pandemic.
